Be inspired by... a Classic Country Garden

The month of May is regarded by many as the start of summer - the days are getting warmer, trees are gradually being covered in an abundance of lush green leaves, and early-blossoming flowers and plants are starting to produce a soft palate of lilac, pink and cream as their dainty buds open.

Inspired by a classic country garden, many of the bouquets in our early summer range feature blooms favoured by florists - delicate sweet peas, highly scented stocks, and peonies with their masses of petals truly are the highlights for May.

And don't forget plants can also create the illusion of a mini garden within the home. Our range of washed baskets and ceramic planters filled with plants in pastel shades are perfect to bring the country garden theme indoors, as well as being easy to look after and long lasting.

Chris' top tip for May...

"It's perfectly natural for some flowers to last longer than others. As you discard stems which are past their best, re-arrange the remaining blooms into a smaller arrangement and display in a different container."
